Creative Nature ‘Hawaiian’ Spirulina Pacifica… Pesticide Free, Herbicide Free and Non-irradiated Creative Nature Spirulina just got even better!! Creative Nature has never been tempted to source cheaper, inferior Spirulina from other countries. We have always maintained our dedication to therapeutic quality by sourcing only from the perfect climate of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Spirulina is now grown in many countries including India and China, but because of unique environmental conditions and state of the art growing and processing, the highest quality spirulina is still only produced in Hawaii, only here has Spirulina attained “GRAS Status,” (Generally Recognized as Safe, by the US FDA for all food, beverage and supplement applications.) Kailua-Kona in Hawaii is one of the sunniest coastal locations in the world, providing perfect year-round temperatures and a 12- month growing season. Other Spirulina farms must shut down for a few months due to weather that is either too hot in the tropics or too cold in temperate regions. Our farm is situated in a bio-secure zone, selected as an environment in harmony with nature. Free of contaminants, pesticides, industrial waste and herbicides. Only here has the select strain of Arthrospira Platensis been developed over many years of cultivation. In fact, this superior strain, grown by our Hawaiian farm represents the oldest continuously cultivated and harvested Spirulina in the world. It has been extensively analyzed by molecular biologists who have identified unique enzymes not previously found in other strains of Spirulina Platensis. There are several reasons for the exceptional quality of Creative Natures ‘Hawaiian’ Spirulina. Firstly our ponds are filled with 100% potable drinking water drawn from the wells fed by the rainforest aquifer, we then supplement this pure water with deep ocean water drawn from the world's cleanest, deepest ocean, via a pipeline that travels more than 2000 feet into the sea. Oceanographers tell us this water has been below the surface for over 2500 years. Deep water from the Pacific makes a very slow migration that starts at the poles. This deep water stays in a distinct layer, travelling like a very slowly moving river toward the tropics. Our pipeline brings this ultra-pure, mineral rich water to our ponds. This vital resource provides a rich mixture of calcium, magnesium and trace minerals. To our knowledge, our Spirulina farm is the only farm in the world that pays for its water; other farms use river water or irrigation water. No other spirulina is grown with such a rich source of naturally occurring nutrients. Once the spirulina is harvested fresh from the ponds, it is imperative that the important, sensitive nutrients it contains are protected against damaging oxidation. This all sounds pretty good I know! But wait… it just got even better! Our grower has now developed a new feeding and cultivation strategy which has increased the potency of this exceptional Spirulina even further!
