Creative Nature Review This tea does not need to be bought to the boil and simmered in a saucepan but it should be left to infuse for several minutes (approximatley 10).
The taste is subtle but pleasent with a flavour similiar to chinese green tea. Honey and Ginger may be added which makes it taste delicious.
It is said to contain, secoiridoids, ligustroside, oleacein, triterpenoids, sterols, flavonoids and various other phenolic acids. These nutrients can be beneficial for a number of ailments.
Research can be found on the benefits of taking olive tea to treat various illnesses however due to legal reasons these can not be discussed here. Feel free to check third party research but as with all herbs (that have been used for generations with no known side affects or contraindications) it is always worth trying them to see how they might benefit you. |
